{Umniah: Al Furat News} The Joint Operations Command revealed, who will remain of the foreign forces after the date of December 31 next.
Operations spokesman Major General Tahsin al-Khafaji told {Euphrates News}: "We have confirmed that the presence of the forces of the international coalition will not be extended."
He added, "All combat forces will leave, and all those who remain are experts and trainers, whose numbers are few, in addition to advisers in the field of drones and intelligence."

And Al-Khafaji said, "The exit of the combat forces will not affect the security of the country, because the Iraqi forces are able to bear the responsibility of fighting ISIS and all that Iraq needs in the field of intelligence and aviation, and we do not need any forces for combat missions."
It is noteworthy that Iraq and the United States agreed last July, during the fourth and final round of the strategic dialogue, to withdraw all American combat forces from Iraq by the end of this year 2021.
A joint statement at the time stated that the security relationship between the two countries "will move entirely to advice, training and intelligence cooperation, and there will be no presence of US combat forces in Iraq."
Since 2014, America has led an international coalition to combat ISIS, which occupied a third of the area of Iraq at the time, and has deployed about 3,000 soldiers to the coalition, including 2,500 Americans.
