, a source familiar with the current meeting between the coordination framework forces and the leader of the Sadrist movement said today, Thursday, that the meeting agreed not to renew Al-Kazemi for a second term.
The source said that "the gathered parties representing the various forces of the coordination framework and the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, in Al-Amiri's house, agreed not to renew the caretaker prime minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi for a second term, in addition to not renewing the President of the Republic and Parliament as well," noting that "all parties agreed." Provided that the next prime minister is in agreement that the ministers of his government will be in accordance with the electoral merits.
The house of the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi al-Amiri in Baghdad hosted a meeting that included the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr, the head of the State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim and various other coordinating framework forces, to discuss after the election results and options for the next stage.
