    Central Bank sales decreased with the opening of the currency auction for the current week from today, Sunday, to record $ 180 million.
    A source stated that the Central Bank witnessed today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, a decrease in its dollar sales by 4.26% to reach 180 million, 617 thousand, and 354 US dollars covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to last Thursday. , whose sales amounted to 188 million, 163 thousand, and 471 US dollars.
    The source indicated that most of the bank's sales went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, which amounted to 147 million, 687 thousand, and 354 dollars, while the remaining amount of 32 million and 930 thousand dollars went in cash.
    The source indicated that 25 banks have met requests to enhance balances abroad, 14 banks to meet cash requests, in addition to 194 mediation companies.
