Shafaq News / The administration of Dhi Qar Governorate announced, on Monday, the organization of a meeting between the representatives of the governorate and representatives of the protesters in it to support their demands, and while it indicated that the meeting came out with (12) written recommendations, most notably the creation of more than (46) thousand jobs and the completion of projects, it confirmed that the representatives of the protesters They will meet with the Prime Minister and Parliament, under the auspices of the representatives of the province.
Dhi Qar Governorate said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency that "with the direct sponsorship of the Governor of Dhi Qar Muhammad Hadi Al-Ghazi, a meeting was held today, which included members of the House of Representatives from Dhi Qar Governorate and representatives of the protesters in it, which ended in agreement on 12 recommendations to support the demands, most of which focused on the file of Recruitment and project support.
The statement added that "according to the minutes of the meeting, the meeting recommended that the next general budget of the country include new job grades for Dhi Qar with 11,000 civil degrees, and eight thousand degrees for the Ministry of Interior within the degrees of deletion and creation, as well as 27 thousand degrees in the section of the governorate's needs."
Another recommendation, according to the statement, also called for "the commitment of the federal government to support strategic projects in Dhi Qar with the aim of securing job opportunities for earners in various sectors, through projects in the marshes, projects in the tourist city of Ur, the industrial city and oil industries, as well as the recommendation to include 500 law graduates by appointment to the Council of Ministers." The Supreme Judiciary and the adoption of a draft law by adding legal curricula to provide an opportunity for law graduates to work in the field of its teaching.
The statement continued, "The representatives of the province will adopt arranging a meeting for the sit-in in Dhi Qar, with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi," noting that "the rest of the recommendations varied between supporting graduates of the specializations described as oppressed, appointing residents of areas near the Nasiriyah oil refinery, and appointing graduates Aviation".
