    Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Agriculture identified three types of investment in the agricultural sector, while sending a message to investors.
    Adviser to the Ministry of Agriculture, Mahdi al-Qaisi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Investment is very important for the agricultural sector, for two main reasons: the first, because the agricultural sector needs capital and often the investor is able to enter this sector, so the investor bears the conditions and controls, The second is that the investment introduces new technologies.
    He added, "The fields of investment are diverse, starting with investment in the plant side, investment in animal fields, and investment in agricultural manufacturing industries, which is a very important and essential aspect."
    He pointed out that "agriculture without agricultural transformational industries will not be rewarding, for example, the tomato crop is abundant and more than needed, it is unreasonable to keep it until needed, because it goes to damage, and therefore the process of manufacturing tomato paste and tomato juice, will absorb the surplus and will not The effort of the farmers goes, in addition to the economic return.
    He explained, "The services related to the agricultural sector are fertilizers, pesticides, mechanization, veterinary treatments and vaccines, in addition to the importance of using sprinkler irrigation systems," pointing out that "Iraq needs a number of factories to enter to meet the needs, and all of these matters are important, if it intervenes in the field of investment." 
    He pointed out that "agricultural marketing is important to include in the field of investment, such as the provision of refrigerators and refrigerated or frozen means of transport, depending on the nature of the crop," calling on investors to "circulate the agricultural sector, and reassure them that the agricultural sector has many important areas."
