    [size=45]The Ministry of Agriculture clarified the mechanism for approving the import of meat and livestock and the checks applied, while it expected a gradual decline in their prices after recent measures, including reducing import duties.[/size]
    [size=45]Ministry spokesman Muhammad Al-Khuzaie said, “Opening the import of meat is conditional; To preserve animal health and human health, as we do not import from any country unless it is a country that is prudent in exporting livestock, whether cows or sheep.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added, “There is another condition that this country be a member of the World Health Organization and that there be joint relations. In the event that there are no relations of cooperation in the field of livestock, specialized veterinary health teams go to the country from which the import is to be made to closely examine and on the ground about the situation.” The health status of the animals present and knowing whether there are epidemic diseases or not.”[/size]
