    Basra, Iraq-Presse -11 August / August: Student Chairman of the Committee of Financial Supervision and follow-up assignments in the House of Basra, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Sulaiti, an increase allocations to maintain (20%) rather than (7.7% ").

    He explained that "the Kurdistan region demanded the parliamentary committee formally appropriations to increase the proportion (25%) under the pretext of the existence of the displaced in Kurdistan," pointing out that "the percentage of population of the region does not exceed (12.6%), according to the Ministry of Planning."

    He concluded by saying that Sheikh Sulaiti "Basra province deserve the increase according to the increase of population, and the committee charged with studying the draft budget law take that into account, similar to the Kurdistan Region."
