Earth News/ Today, Monday, the coordination framework called on the government and security services to provide protection for independent deputies.
The framework stated in a statement, received by Earth News, that it "rejects the methods of intimidation and threats directed by well-known and unknown media platforms of political affiliation to the independent parliamentarians, who made their political decision not to attend last Saturday's session."
He added, "We stress the need to condemn these methods by all forces, actors, and political and societal figures," noting that "these actions are a confiscation of freedom of expression, and they are a legal violation that punishes those who commit them according to Iraqi law."
The framework continued, according to the statement, "We confirm that these cheap methods have become exposed and will not affect the morale and will of the members of the House of Representatives, who have the full will and the right to express their opinion and take their decisions away from threats and temptations."
And he indicated that "the method of attaching the accusation of employment to the free patriots who are not subject to temptation or threat is uncivilized and immoral," calling on "the government and the security services to provide protection for independent representatives."
