The "Coordination Framework" demanded the Iraqi government, on Wednesday, to take firm measures to provide security, after hundreds of people from the Sadrist movement stormed the parliament headquarters in protest against the "Coordination" candidate for prime minister.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The forces forming the coordination framework said in a statement that "what happened today of the accelerated events and allowing the demonstrators to enter the special government zone and storm the parliament and constitutional institutions, and the failure of the concerned forces to fulfill their duty, raises suspicions greatly."
The statement added: We hold the caretaker government fully responsible for the security and safety of government departments, their employees, diplomatic missions, and public and private properties, and we demand that it take firm measures to maintain security and order and prevent chaos and illegal practices.
The statement called on the Iraqis to be more aware and wary of the machinations of the enemies and to confront any sedition that the people and their sons would fuel its fire. He also called on them to be "vigilant, alert, miss the opportunity, and prepare for every emergency."
The “coordinating framework” described what the country has witnessed since the announcement of its candidate for prime minister as “suspicious calls that urge chaos, stir up sedition and strike civil peace,” and said: “After the coordinating framework forces completed practical steps to start forming a national service government and agreed unanimously to nominate a national figure.” She is known for her efficiency and integrity, and since yesterday she has monitored suspicious movements and calls that urge chaos, stir up sedition, and strike civil peace.
Demonstrators supporting the Sadrist movement stormed the parliament headquarters in the Green Zone, in protest against the nomination of Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani for prime minister.
