Representative of the coordination framework, Ali al-Jamali, clarified the terms of the tripartite alliance project supported by Turkey and the UAE, pointing out that the project is not related to the Sunni leadership, but rather to serve the Kurds and return the political deportees with the approval of al-Halbousi.
Al-Jamali told Al-Maalouma, "With regard to the Sunni component, there was an agreement that was previously made under the Emirati-Turkish sponsorship of the tripartite alliance project, including the return of the exiled politicians, whether by arrest warrants or lawsuits."
He added, "Some personalities are likely to return to the political process, whether through a general amnesty or the aforementioned agreement backed by the UAE and Turkey."
And he indicated that "regarding the Kurdish side, the tripartite alliance agreement confirms that the Kurds will obtain Kirkuk, increase their share in the budget, and Kurd Sinjar."
He stressed that "if al-Halbousi did not want the return of Suleiman and al-Issawi, he would prevent their return to the political arena again, but he stood by their return and is marketing the terms of the tripartite alliance agreement supported by Turkey and the UAE." finished 25
