The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mustafa Ghaleb Mokhif, stated that the initiatives of (Tamkeen) contributed to the support of several sectors.
The media of the Community Initiatives Fund (Tamkeen) stated in a statement, "The governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, the advanced owners in the Central Bank, the Association of Private Banks, and a number of state officials participated in the breakfast table that was held for orphaned children and people with special needs in the Al-Qashla building."
He added, "Makhif honored, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, a number of orphaned children and people with special needs, within the (Tamkeen) initiative, which is funded by private banks and managed by the Central Bank of Iraq and the Association of Private Banks."
He added, "The Governor of the Central Bank conducted an inspection visit to Al-Mutanabbi Street, which the Tamkeen initiative contributed to rehabilitating in a way that suits Baghdad's status. He also visited Shabandar Café and met a number of its pioneers."
Mokhif affirmed, according to the statement, that "the Central Bank of Iraq supports the cultural sector, and that Tamkeen's initiatives have contributed to supporting several sectors that serve large segments of Iraqi society."
