The responses of the political circles and their interactions with the Federal Court's announcement of its decision regarding the case for dissolving the House of Representatives varied.
Parties in the coordination framework were expecting to reject the case, but they denied the House of Representatives’ intention to dissolve itself, according to the Federal Court’s clarification in the body of its statement, stipulating that all political forces sit at the dialogue table, including the Sadrist movement, to draw the features of the transitional period.
Aqil Al-Rudaini, a member of the Victory Coalition, told UTV that "Parliament will not dissolve itself without conducting dialogues between the political forces on this, so we must agree on the next step to dissolve parliament."
On the other hand, political specialists stressed that the Sadrist movement rejects all the current political class and that it will not go to any dialogue that brings it together with the main Shiite political forces, and that the dissolution of Parliament is a Sadrist demand and a red line that does not accept discussion.
Ghaleb Al-Daami, a political specialist, told UTV that "the Sadrist movement, as I expect, will not go to any dialogue unless real and conclusive visions are presented to dissolve Parliament."
The political situation is getting more complicated, and the stalemate is expanding without clear solutions on the horizon, with the Tishreen activists and the Sadrist movement continuing to mobilize for demonstrations starting on the anniversary of the popular protests three years ago.
