Shafaq News/ A leader in the State of Law coalition led by Nuri al-Maliki revealed today, Sunday, the cabinet of the coordination framework candidate Muhammad al-Sudani for prime minister, indicating that 6 of them were given to the Sadrist movement, ruling out the stability of this government without the Sadrists.
The leader in the coalition, MP Muhammad Al-Sihoud, told Shafak News Agency, "The government program is agreed upon," noting that the candidate for the coordination framework, Muhammad Al-Sudani, "has discussed his program with a number of deputies."
He added that "the steps to expedite the formation of the government are agreed upon with the political blocs, but there is an obstacle that is the presidency of the republic," noting that "there is news to us that there is an agreement between the Kurdish parties on one candidate."
He continued, saying, in the event that the Kurdish parties agree on the candidate, "the knot with holding the session will end and there is no other justification for delaying parliament sessions."
He stressed that "it is very important now that the dialogues be in two tracks, the first is a direct line with the political blocs, and the other is with the Sadrist movement."
Chihod considered, "It is possible to form a government without the Sadrist movement, but the age of this government will be indefinite, and for this the Sadrist movement must be included in the new government in order to obtain political, security and economic stability," noting that "a government without the Sadrist movement is unable to carry out its duties."
Chihod pointed out that "the cabinet will consist of 22 ministries," explaining that "12 of them will be for Shiite parties, and if the Sadrist movement participates, it will get 6 ministries, 6 other ministries to Sunni parties and 4 ministries to Kurdish parties."
Earlier today, the candidate of the coordination framework for the presidency of the next Iraqi government, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, presented today, Sunday, his vision for the next stage, and said that his government program contained several files and included 23 axes, but the axes (health, electricity, municipal services, anti-corruption) will have priority".
