Today, Thursday, the Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad Karim Al-Khafaji, directed the payment of the dues of the marketers of the seeds of the higher ranks of the wheat crop.
The delegated director of the Iraqi Company for Seed Production, Nizar Al-Kubaisi, said in a statement, “Based on the directives of Minister Muhammad Karim Al-Khafaji and after joint meetings with the company’s Chairman of the Board Abbas Jamil Al-Shabki, as well as the company’s site managers, the minister’s directive was implemented to disburse the remaining dues of the farmers owed by the company from Wheat seeds for this year and from the company's cash flow for the 2021-2022 agricultural season.
Al-Kubaisi called on "all farmers and producers of wheat seeds for the higher ranks to review all the company's sites next Sunday, October 22, 2022, bringing with them the original legal documents."
