Today, Monday, the Ministry of Agriculture announced the release of the final payment of financial dues to producers of higher grade seeds.
The ministry stated in a statement, a copy of which was received by Mawazine News: “Based on the directives of the Minister, Abbas Jabr Al-Olayawi, and the supervision of the Director General of the Mesopotamian General Seed Company, Nassim Oreibi Abdullah, the payment of financial dues to producers of higher grade seeds (the last batch) has been launched. And pointing out that "the full amount of financial dues has been paid to the producers of higher grade seeds, and for the full quantity marketed, and according to the priority of marketing by the dates of the transactions in the sites."
She added that she "calls upon the peasant marketers to review the seed sites (belonging to the company and leased to the private sector) to receive their financial dues for the current season 2022."
