    The Oil Exploration Company of the Ministry of Oil announced today, Saturday, the completion of the seismic survey operations for the FAO program, and while it confirmed the imminent implementation of survey programs for joint border fields with neighboring countries, it determined the percentages of completion in the implemented projects.
    The director of the company, Ali Jassim Hammoud, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Oil Exploration Company currently has the latest technologies in the field of exploration, treatment and interpretations that do not differ from what exists in neighboring countries," noting that "the company has taken upon itself to keep pace with developments. and modern technologies in the exploration process. 
    Hammoud added, "The company owns an integrated database, human capabilities and accumulated experiences, which makes it the center of admiration for the cadres of the Ministry of Oil, and it is no less experienced than foreign companies," noting that "the company ranks among the first level on Arab companies, because of its possession of Modern capabilities, equipment, and cadres, as well as the accumulation of experience.
    He pointed out that "the Iraqi cadre is distinguished by its extensive experience over other cadres, which has been proven by the experiences and certificates of appreciation that the company obtained through its work with international oil companies," explaining that "the exploration company took upon itself the development of the fields of the first, second, third and fourth licensing rounds, and after Completing the legal steps to ratify the licensing round, the fifth will be developed. 
    He added, "The company will implement survey programs for joint border fields with neighboring countries," noting that "the beginning of development operations is seismic surveys, and there is continuous support and coordination from the leadership of the oil sector to refer those contracts and implement programs to the Oil Exploration Company."
    He pointed out that "the seismic survey operations for the FAO program have been completed, and have been carried out according to plan, and work is currently underway by 8 teams working in various Iraqi governorates," noting that "there are two teams, the seventh and eighth, working in Nineveh Governorate in the Qasab field." Guan) and (Sasan) field to conduct 3D seismic surveys of the fields.
    He noted that "the exploration company also has two teams working in Anbar Governorate according to the Tharthar salt seismic program, and the third seismic division works in Muthanna Governorate. Nahr Omar," explaining that "the Fifth Division is currently working on the implementation of a two-dimensional seismic survey project in the North Ahdab region through (dynamite)."
    And he indicated that "the completion rates in the executed projects reach 88%, while the Umm Qasr project has been completed recently."
