The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, on Wednesday, that the Iranian dialogue has moved from its security track to the diplomatic one, while indicating that the negotiation sessions between Iran and Saudi Arabia continue under the auspices of Iraq.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working towards adapting the multiple strategic partnerships that are dedicated to the security and stability of the region," said the ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, noting that "the stability of the region can only be achieved by working to devote collective interests."
He pointed to "the importance of strengthening the paths of dialogue between the parties at the regional level," noting that "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working according to its diplomatic systems on this initiative."
He added, "The Iranian-Saudi dialogue moved from its security track to the diplomatic track," stressing, "
He pointed out that "Iraq is still promoting positive visions and close viewpoints," noting that "the last meeting of the negotiating sessions took place in Baghdad and was sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs."
He continued, "We are still coordinating between the two sides for the possibility of achieving other rounds of dialogue that will be held on more consensus."
It is noteworthy that the capital, Baghdad, previously hosted five rounds of talks between Saudi Arabia and Iran with the aim of bringing points of view closer, as officials confirmed that the results of these rounds were positive. Ended 29 / H
