Today, Saturday, the Ministry of the Interior confirmed the preparation of a timetable, which will be announced soon, for receiving the security file inside the cities and coordinating with joint operations in this regard, stressing that the army forces will continue to leave according to the timings.
The Director General of the Directorate of Relations and Information of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Saad Maan, said: "The process of moving the army from the cities is present and ongoing, according to which work is underway to hand over the Ministry of Interior the internal security files."
He added, "The Ministry of Interior is working at a high pace in coordination with the Joint Operations Command to achieve this goal, and its formations will be the ones that will be stable in the cities."
He added, "The work is continuing within a timetable, which we will announce soon, in coordination with the Joint Operations Command, the Ministry of Defense and the rest of the security authorities."
