Today, Sunday, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced that a general amnesty will be issued for prisoners in the new year.[/size]
[size=45]"A general amnesty will be issued for prisoners in the new year," said Questan Muhammad, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in the Kurdistan Regional Government, adding: "A higher committee has been formed in the Council of Ministers regarding this issue."[/size]
[size=45]She explained by saying: "The committee includes representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Kurdistan Regional Government, the Judicial Council and the Social Committee in the Kurdistan Parliament, and they are currently preparing a draft law so that a general amnesty can be issued on the basis of it."[/size]
