Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Hasan al-Sari, of the Regions and Provinces Parliamentary Committee called to endorse a law that grants wide authorities for the provinces.
He stated to IraqiNews.com “The regime in Iraq is decentralized and federal and regime gives more authorities for the provinces to run their affairs in addition to the constitution that granted wide authorities for the provinces.”
“Among the best regimes in the world is the one that grant huge authorities for the provinces as we find in many countries,” he added, noting that “There are authorities common between the local governments and the Federal Government so we call to give all the authorities of the Ministries to the provinces.”
“This is a legitimate and legal demand for the provinces,” he concluded.
