Political analyst Hussein Al-Kinani saw that Washington is exerting pressure on the Sudanese government with the aim of obtaining gains and imposing certain policies to serve its interests, pointing out that raising the value of the dollar comes within the policy of pressure that America is working on against the government to achieve its goals in Iraq, including keeping its forces.
Al-Kinani said in a press interview seen by “Takadam” that “the political dimension behind America’s interventions to change the exchange rate of the dollar against the dinar and reduce the cash liquidity at the central bank by withholding dealings with some banks, especially since there is a threat to punish about 15 banks, which increased the demand for the dollar in Local market".
He added, "The American measures were not taken during the era of the previous government, although the banks have been operating for quite some time, and therefore the issue is related to trying to put pressure on the Sudanese government to obtain gains."
And he indicated that "America's pressure aims to keep its forces inside Iraq, obtain gains, and impose policies on Iraq related to its foreign policy, especially with the Chinese side and projects between the two countries."
