Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, announced the intention to build residential homes in the liberated areas.
The ministry said in a statement: "Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, received today the head of the United Nations Organization for Human Settlements (Habitat) Wael Al-Ashhab and his accompanying delegation," noting that "during the meeting, cooperation and joint coordination between the ministry and the organization were discussed during the coming days and support Stability in the liberated areas through joint work to build housing units as well as rehabilitate demolished homes in the liberated areas, according to the directives of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani.
According to the statement, Jabro praised "the efforts of the Habitat Organization and their keenness to support the Ministry and stand with it in supporting stability in the liberated areas," stressing that "
For his part, Al-Ashhab praised "the minister's efforts to support the file of land ownership for the Yazidis in Nineveh, which the Council of Ministers voted on in its last session."
