[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The Secretary-General of the Solution Party, Muhammad al-Karbouli, called today, Monday, on Japan to strengthen its role in supporting community construction projects and developing infrastructure in the basic liberated cities, in a way that contributes to finding job opportunities for youth employment and reducing the effects of poverty and unemployment.
Karbouli's office said in a statement: "The Secretary-General of the Solution Party received at his headquarters in Baghdad, Japan's ambassador to Iraq, Futoshi Matsumoto, and the second secretary for political affairs, Aichi Takahisa, and their accompanying delegation."
He added: "During the meeting, ideas were exchanged on the political process in Iraq and its future, as well as prospects for cooperation and relations with Japan and its support for the programs of the Iraqi government."
He continued, "The Japanese ambassador listened to a detailed explanation about the political, security and service situation in the liberated governorates, and the means to improve their situation and complete the reconstruction and construction projects in them."
Al-Karbouli appreciated, according to the statement, "the Japanese government's continuous support to the country and people of Iraq in the military and economic fields," calling for "strengthening its role in supporting community construction projects and developing basic infrastructure in the liberated cities."
