On Monday, the Baghdad International Airport administration issued a clarification on the mechanism for travelers to obtain dollars.

The administration said in a statement, which “NAS” received a copy of (February 13, 2023), that it “clarifies for Iraqi travelers the most important requirements for obtaining dollars for travelers from the outlets of the Rafidain Bank, Al-Rasheed Bank, and the Iraqi Trade Bank at the airport, in light of the instructions issued by the Central Bank of Iraq:
1- An original passport and a copy of a valid passport
2- A travel ticket (travel ticket)
3- boarding pass.
And she stressed that "the date of travel will be on the same day as the request to obtain the amount in dollars from the bank outlets at the airport."
