Today, Thursday, the activities of the Erbil International Exhibition for Cars, Spare Parts and Accessories will start in its eighth session, with the participation of a large number of local and international companies, which will last for three days, while Kurdistan is waiting to organize 13 exhibitions in various fields.
The managing director of the exhibition, Hassan Sami, told Al-Sabah: The organization of this exhibition comes after a hiatus of several years due to the Corona pandemic and the economic situation, explaining that the exhibition includes the participation of 75 companies, including 13 international companies with international brands, including Range Rover, Toyota and BMW. W, Mercedes and others.
He added, "The exhibition comes at a time when the Kurdistan region is witnessing a major economic boom, as the exhibition includes modern models in the world of cars, especially since the region is in a stage of prosperity in various sectors and fields, including agriculture, industry, trade, investment, and others."
Sami pointed out that "the region has an effective and active commercial capacity in the car trade and is considered a general center for marketing for the cities of the region and the various provinces in the country," stressing that "companies compete with each other in order to entice citizens to buy, and the good purchasing power in general in the world of cars affects in the growth of economic and commercial activity in the country.
And he indicated that during the current year, and within the studied plan, 17 exhibitions will be held on the grounds of the Erbil International Fair in various fields.
