Today, Friday, the Turkish authorities revealed that they had carried out an assassination operation targeting a PKK militant in the Sinjar region inside Iraq.[/size]
[size=45]The Turkish newspaper, The Daily Sabah, said in the content of its translation (Baghdad Today), that “the Turkish National Intelligence Agency tracked a person named Saad Ali inside Iraq and managed to assassinate him through an intelligence operation that it carried out inside Iraqi territory,” stressing that “Saad was killed inside Sinjar, refusing to reveal details the operation".[/size]
[size=45]The newspaper pointed out that “Turkish National Intelligence is carrying out continuous intelligence operations inside Iraqi territory,” without mentioning any coordination with the Iraqi government or the security forces responsible for protecting Sinjar.[/size]
