    Economic expert Nabil Jabbar Al-Aali attributed, on Saturday, the continued rise in the exchange rates of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar to black remittances.
    Al-Ali told Al-Maalouma, "Irregular black transfers are among the most prominent reasons behind the continued rise in the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar in the local markets."
    He added, "Among the reasons also preventing the decline in the dollar exchange rate is the increasing demand funded for irregular money transfers that take place outside the Iraqi banking system and the Central Bank's instructions."
