The Minister of Industry calls for the development of technological incubator projects

Yesterday, Tuesday, the Minister of Industry, Khaled Battal Al-Najm, directed the development of the experience of technology incubator projects and activating work with the concerned authorities.
The media office of the Ministry of Industry stated in a statement that Al-Najm called, during his attendance at the graduation ceremony of the sixth batch of technology incubator projects, to "interlock between universities, the industrial sector and society, and the subsequent decisions and initiatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and universities to support and nurture innovative and creative youth and adopt the technology incubators project." After 2010, the development and maturity of this project in the Industrial Research and Development Authority in cooperation with partners in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Department of Industrial Regulation and Development in the Ministry of Industry, and the main partner represented by the ideas and minds of young people.
He expressed his pleasure in the presence of the President of the Federation of Iraqi Industries that "this project and actual cooperation on the ground culminates in graduating batches of these incubator projects to the labor market," pointing out that "scientific research is the basis for any development in the knowledge and economic sectors."
Al-Najm stressed that "there is a need to develop this experience and activate work with the concerned authorities to reach a smoother path in converting the idea into a viable product in the interest of the industrial sector and reflects on the Iraqi citizen."
The Minister of Industry directed "to hold a joint meeting between the Industrial Research and Development Authority, the Federation of Iraqi Industries, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Industrial Bank and other relevant authorities to diagnose obstacles and find solutions to move towards facilitating loan granting procedures and supporting youth to establish their projects."
And he instructed, "The Research Authority to hold a permanent exhibition within the Authority that includes research outputs to search for an industrialist and a funder for the application of these researches and patents."
