[rtl]The head of the National Investment Commission, Haider Makiya, arrived in Saudi Arabia, accompanied by a government delegation.[/rtl]
[rtl]A statement by the commission stated, "Makiya arrived at the head of a government delegation to Saudi Arabia to discuss joint investment opportunities between Baghdad and Riyadh, and to discuss the establishment of the Iraqi-Saudi company."[/rtl]
[rtl]The statement continued, "The Iraqi delegation included representatives of the ministries of foreign affairs, oil, electricity, construction, housing, agriculture, planning, trade and the general secretariat of the cabinet." [/rtl]
[rtl]The statement stated, "The Iraqi delegation will discuss the paths of partnership for the development of the investment sector in Iraq." [/rtl]
[rtl]The statement pointed out that "the Iraqi delegation will establish agreements that give investment and development projects a strategic dimension in implementation and simulate pioneering projects in the region." [/rtl]
[rtl]And he continued, "The visit of the Iraqi delegation to Saudi Arabia is a step towards strengthening the pillars of confidence in the national investment environment and stimulating Saudi capital and investors to work in it."[/rtl]
