, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced, on Monday, the projects implemented within the Dhi Qar Reconstruction Fund, while determining the percentages of completion in the Dora - Yusufiya road project.
A spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Haider Majid, told the official news agency, "The secretariat is supervising the program of the Dhi Qar Governorate Reconstruction Fund," noting that "the number of projects in it has reached 206."
He explained, "The program was launched 10 months ago, and all projects in it are progressing at a high pace, as 42 projects have been received and opened in a number of districts and sub-districts of Dhi Qar Governorate and in various sectors."
Majeed stressed, "About 108 projects will soon be received after achieving completion rates that exceed what was planned," noting that "
He added, "The program also includes the Dora-Youssoufia road project, which will contribute to relieving traffic jams, as the completion rates have exceeded 75 percent and will be opened soon after its final completion."
He continued, "The companies are working on the five entrances to Baghdad, as well as the 1,000 schools project, which two Chinese companies are working on, in addition to the Euphrates Basin salinity treatment project in Muthanna, Dhi Qar and Diwaniyah, which has been 30 percent completed, and the second phase will be launched soon to finish this file."
Majid noted that "the data center is continuing with the ministries in the governorates to create applications for the e-governance project, as the center, in cooperation with the rest of the official ministries, has started preparing devices and equipment and training staff on this project."
