    Shafaq News/ The Sunni political leaders in Iraq intend to hold a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, at the invitation of the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, to discuss forming a new alliance under the name of the "Sunni Coordination Framework".



    A prominent leader in the Taqaddam party, led by Muhammad al-Halbousi, told Shafaq News agency, "The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, invited all Sunni political leaders in Iraq, past and present, led by (Salim al-Jubouri, Osama al-Nujaifi, Saleh al-Mutlaq, Khamis al-Khanjar, Rafee Al-Issawi, Jamal Al-Karbouli, Muthanna Al-Samarrai, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani) and others to hold a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, at his residence in the capital, Baghdad.
    And between the leader, who asked not to be named, that "the goal of Al-Halbousi's invitation is to discuss the possibility of forming a (Sunni coordination framework) so that it is able to confront the (Shiite coordination framework) politically and be able to impose the application of the conditions and demands of the Sunni political forces, after the unification of The Sunni house is under one roof, as did the Shiite political house.
    The leader concluded by saying, "The majority of prominent Sunni leaders rejected the idea of ​​forming a (Sunni coordination framework) and informed al-Halbousi of that, and it will most likely be a boycott of tomorrow's meeting, with al-Halbousi continuing to persuade as many leaders as possible to accept his call."
    Yesterday, Sunday, former MP Mishaan Al-Jubouri wrote on his Twitter account, followed by Shafaq News agency, "I can confirm that President Osama Al-Nujaifi, Sheikh Khamis Al-Khanjar, Mr. Muthanna Al-Samarrai, Dr. Rafi Al-Issawi, and those with them, and with the addresses they represent, will not be part From the Sunni coordination framework that Muhammad al-Halbousi seeks to form.
