A leader in the National Union praises the oil agreement between Erbil and Baghdad and invites the two parties

Shafaq News/ A member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Saadi Ahmed Bireh, expressed, on Wednesday, that his party sits with the Kurdistan Democratic Party in order to resolve the existing differences between them, praising at the same time the agreement reached by Erbil and Baghdad regarding the resumption of exporting Kurdistan Region's oil.
In a speech to crowds of his party's supporters, Bireh said that the only way for the National Union and the Democratic Party is to work together, expressing his hope that the two parties will reach a conviction by sitting together at the dialogue table as the electoral institutions do between them, which are in the process of rapprochement on the issue of elections.
The leader of the National Union called on the two parties to sit down to solve the security, military, economic and political problems.
Bireh added that if there is something good for our nation, why don't we consider it a "victory"? He added, "No, it is really a victory," referring to the oil agreement between Erbil and Baghdad.
He stressed that the decline in fuel and fuel prices and the availability of salaries is in itself a victory for our nation.
On Tuesday, the fourth of April, the federal government and the regional government signed a temporary agreement between the Federal Ministry of Oil and the Ministry of Natural Resources, according to which the export of crude oil abroad from Kurdistan and Kirkuk Governorate will resume after it was suspended by the International Arbitration Tribunal in Paris.
