Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Electricity announced the endeavor to raise energy production to 24 thousand megawatts early next month, and while it indicated that the smart transformation project for the electric grid will be implemented in 5 experimental governorates, it clarified the mechanism for dealing with complaints.

The official spokesman for the ministry, Ahmed Musa, said, "The ministry started early with the summer plan under government sponsorship, which included three phases," noting that "periodic and emergency maintenance has been completed for the production units of all stations, which will be ready on the first of next May, with the granting of powers to general managers and the provision of Spare parts and financial allocations.

He added, "The work of the transport sector included the installation of automatic transformers, and we established conveyor lines, and converted some of them into double circuits to give greater discharge energies," noting that "the work in the distribution sector included the development of feeders, the rehabilitation of distribution networks, and the rehabilitation of feeder paths."

He stressed that "the plan will be ready on the first of next May to achieve production of up to 24,000 megawatts," pointing out that "the slums and agricultural areas have been organized."

He stated that "the stability of the load at 24,000 megawatts, an increase of 3,500 megawatts, will achieve good processing hours in the summer."

Regarding collection, Musa confirmed that "the ministry completed the study on the subject of collection after examining the experiences of neighboring countries and the Kurdistan region," pointing out that "the cabinet authorized the Ministry of Electricity to proceed with contracting with consulting companies for the smart transformation of the electrical grid, which includes smart meters and the installation of card-operated systems." .

He continued, "This project will be launched in 5 governorates on a pilot basis, and then it will be circulated."

Regarding the provision of gas, Moussa said, "There is an operations room with the Ministry of Oil and tours of the ministers of oil and electricity, which resulted in operating the Crutch station for the first time on free national gas, where the first unit started, and today the second unit was operated," noting that "our visit was accompanied by the ministers of oil and electricity To the Halfaya field, I undertook to supply the Maysan gas station with about 160-180 fuel pumps, which will operate 1,400 megawatts on national gas.

He pointed out that "the supplied gas now occupies 7,500 megawatts," explaining that "there are no debts on the Ministry of Electricity resulting from Iranian gas."

Regarding the mechanism for dealing with complaints, Moussa mentioned that "there are hot numbers and other central numbers that all citizens in all governorates can call, which is 5608," noting that "
