    Information/Baghdad…
The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, confirmed today, Saturday, that Iraq is the biggest winner from the rapprochement of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hakim said during the Eid prayer sermon, which was followed by Al-Maalouma Agency, "We welcome the recent Iranian-Saudi rapprochement, whose features have become clear in the stability of the region, the dismantling of outstanding issues, and the resolution of intractable crises."
He added that "strengthening Islamic unity, the principles of good neighborliness, and the interests of the region and its peoples, necessitate all of us to converge and join hands with each other for the sake of goodness and peace, and that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia possess the full ingredients and sufficient motives for dialogue, understanding and participation in the development and stability of the region, and Iraq sees itself as the supporter." And the winner and the biggest beneficiary in this meaningful equation.
On the other hand, al-Hakim stressed that "we are on the verge of years of success and achievement, and it is not acceptable to try, wait and be patient with any other failure in our provinces, ministries and institutions."
He pointed out that "many Iraqi provinces are witnessing today an urban renaissance that pleases hearts, and with the approval of the state's general budget, other provinces must be seen joining the procession of development, development and advancement."
And the head of the Wisdom Movement continued, "The great challenge that Iraq faces is the drug challenge and the high rates of abuse and trafficking in this deadly poison, and as long as we stopped and talked and pointed out the enormity of this issue, here I call again for a major governmental and popular campaign to confront this devastating invasion of our youth and our families by educating society and Protecting him from this imminent danger, through strict government measures to dry up the sources of this destructive trade and punish the perpetrators, and go to establish specialized hospitals for addicts in the governorates exposed to this danger.
He explained, "When we see reports confirming that many of our governorates do not have hospitals, medicines, and adequate treatments to help addicts, we share the concern of families who want to immunize or treat their children from this scourge, just as the spread of drugs in schools, universities, and even in some state departments has become an issue." It is unfortunate and disturbing, and it needs strict measures and confident steps from the state and its security, educational and media agencies, as well as social activities and civil society organizations.
