The representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sharif Suleiman, confirmed that the Kurdistan region stands by approving the budget and resolving its matter (today before tomorrow) in order to end the differences and implement what was agreed upon between the negotiating delegations.
Suleiman said in a press interview seen by Taqaddam, “Most political parties try to express themselves and preserve the rights of their public bases when preparing and voting on the budget, as there is no party that stands against it or against its approval.”
He added that "the trend in general, and especially in the Kurdistan Democratic Party, is towards resolving the budget file and proceeding to vote on it under the dome of Parliament after making some amendments by the relevant committees."
And he indicated that "many files have been agreed upon between the negotiating delegations between Baghdad and Erbil, as the region is waiting for the approval of the budget (today before tomorrow) in order to end the differences and implement the agreements between the two sides, and therefore the region is a supporter of the completion of the budget."
