    The Wall Street Journal quoted US officials as saying in a report translated by Shafaq News Agency; This step is the first of its kind, and placing more powerful weapons in a squadron of A-10 Warthogs aims to give pilots a greater chance of success in destroying ammunition caches and other fortified targets in Iraq and Syria after US forces have been repeatedly targeted by militants. supported by Iran.
    This is the first time the US military has placed these precision-guided weapons on board Warthogs aircraft, which have been recently refurbished so that each can carry up to 16 bunker buster bombs, also known as GBU-39/B bombs. ". 
    The report quoted the head of the Central Command of the US Air Force, General Alexus Grynkewich, who oversees military operations in the skies of Syria and 20 other countries in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, as saying that these planes are "very effective in some of the things that we need to do." 
    The American report indicated that these powerful bombs arrived in the Middle East at a time of escalating tensions with Iran, noting that last Thursday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards detained an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman while it was transporting oil from Kuwait to the United States, which Iran says is a flagged ship.
