The State Administration coalition, which forms the government and includes the largest number of deputies, agreed to resolve discussions on the budget before the 10th of this month. And the coalition stated in a statement, “The State Administration Coalition held a regular meeting yesterday, Monday, with the participation of the coalition leaders, hosted by Khamis al-Khanjar.”
The statement added, "The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi and all coalition leaders." He pointed out, "The meeting discussed the governmental and parliamentary files, as well as service, economic, security and political files." The statement pointed out that “the State Administration Alliance stressed the importance of approving the federal budget and launching government projects and programs,” noting that “the coalition announced on May 10 the current day as a last resort to resolve discussions on budget items.” And the statement went on, “The participants discussed the terms of the political agreement and exerted maximum efforts to implement the government program and the ministerial platform, stressing their commitment to the date of the local elections at the end of this year.”
