[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The specialist in economic affairs, Durgham Muhammad Ali, demanded a re-evaluation of the size of admissions in academic education to match the real labor market and according to the actual need.
Dergham Muhammad Ali said, in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency ( NINA ), that "the country needs more studies in the human development sector to determine future directions for the need for the labor market in Iraq and direct admissions to academic and postgraduate studies in the light of it."
He pointed out that "the horizontal expansion of academic education in disciplines that are less in demand in the labor market is a waste of resources and a wrong direction for human development."
The economist called for "drawing studies on the future of human development and formulating academic education plans according to the actual need for development and not based on the desire of investors in the education sector."
