    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Today, Tuesday, economist Nabil Al-Marsoumi revealed "paradoxes" in the mechanism for distributing job grades among state employees in the 2023 general budget.
Al-Marsoumi said in a post on Facebook, which I followed (Baghdad Today), that "the percentage of higher grades (A) in the Kurdistan region, compared to the total of those grades in Iraq, equals 43%, at a time when the number of employees in the region is equal to 658 thousand, or 16%." of the total number of employees in Iraq.
He added, "As for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is the largest in grades (A) with 118 degrees, or 15% of the total of those grades in Iraq, although the number of its employees is 3778, meaning that 15% of its employees are grade (A)."
And he continued, "The Ministry of Education is the largest among the ministries in terms of the number of employees, who number about 964 thousand employees, or 23.6% of the total number of employees in Iraq, while the number of degrees from category (A) is only 6 degrees."
And he noted that "the upper class, category (A), includes governors and undersecretaries of ministries upwards."
