Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Oil announced an increase in the fuel share of residential generators to 45 liters instead of 30 for each KV for the current month of July.
The ministry said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today", that "based on the directives of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul-Ghani, the Ministry of Oil decided to increase the share of fuel for residential generators for the month of July."
The Undersecretary for Distribution Affairs, Laith Al-Shaher, confirmed, according to the statement, that "it was decided to increase the share of supplying residential generators from the gas oil product for the current month of July, by 15 liters per KVA, so that the share will be 45 liters per KVA due to the high temperatures and for the purpose of providing the best service to citizens."
For his part, the Director General of the Oil Products Distribution Company, Hussein Talib, called on "owners of unregistered generators to review the administrative units of their governorates for the purpose of completing the necessary procedures to receive their shares."
