The National Retirement Authority has counted the amounts of differences and late rewards disbursed to retirees since the implementation of the support package for retirees began in late February, indicating the cancellation of about 39,627 retirement files and records for not being covered by the Martyrs and Political Prisoners Institutions Law.
The head of the authority, Maher Hussein Rashid Al-Bayati, said: “The total amounts of differences and late bonuses disbursed to retirees amounted to about 843 billion and 671 million dinars since February 2023.”
Al-Bayati added that “the late disbursed differences amounted to 280.514 billion dinars, or 241.766 billion dinars civil registration, and about 38.747 billion dinars military registration.

He added that “the supervisory and judicial authorities and security agencies have been approached to cooperate and intensify efforts in order to recover more than 820 billion dinars spent on canceled entries in the past years and until the beginning of the year 2023 as pension salaries and financial differences,” noting that “the canceled entries amounted to about 16,717 as retirement files and up to (22,910) As a retirement entry in the departments of the Martyrs Foundation and the retirement of Anbar Governorate for not being covered by the laws in force and taking all legal measures, investigation and accountability for all those who contributed and participated in promoting transactions until the unlawful disbursement of amounts to non-entitled families of terrorists and counterfeiters.
