Today, Monday (August 14, 2023), the Iraqi Parliament adjourned its session to tomorrow, Tuesday, after it voted and finished reading a number of bills.
The media department of the House of Representatives stated, in a statement received by "Baghdad Today", that "the House of Representatives voted on the draft law for the second amendment to the Law of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs No. Human cloning.
The Council also finished the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the agreement signed on July 28 / 1994 regarding the implementation of Part Eleven of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
In addition, the Council finished the report and discussion of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the international agreement related to intervention on the high seas in the event of accidents causing oil pollution for the year 1969 and the protocol related to intervention on the high seas in cases of pollution with materials other than oil for the year 1973.
Parliament also completed the second reading, "report and discussion" of a draft law ratifying the exemption of holders of diplomatic, service and private passports from entry visas between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Russian Federation, before adjourning its session to tomorrow, Tuesday.
