    The planning Ministry announced Sunday, a joint agreement with the European Union on the application of the rule of law and the judicial system and strengthening the credibility of the Iraqi criminal law at a cost of eight million euros. The Ministry said in a statement received "alsumaria news" version of it, "the planning Minister Salman Al-jumaili, received today, Chairman of the Working Group to draft the EU's rule of law and the judicial system in Iraq George Brady", stating that "during the meeting to discuss mechanisms for the implementation of the EU-funded project cost eight million euros over four years." The statement quoted Frank as saying that "the project will contribute to the strengthening and sientific judicial system in Iraq and as well as working on the culture of human rights protection in accordance with the regulations and laws in force in Iraq", adding that "the positive role of the EU in support of capacity-building and development through the adoption of a number of vital projects, including support to the judicial system. The Minister expressed his readiness planning for "greater cooperation for the success of this project will also approach the concerned ministries and agencies that are not related to the Ministry to contribute to its support."


    For his part, the President of the European project team George "the postal Ministry of planning play a role in the implementation of this strategic project because it is concerned with international cooperation," Noting that "the project includes three key elements are the judiciary, police and prisons".

    Brady said it was agreed to form a Committee comprising representatives of a number of ministries, including justice and human rights, Interior, civil society organizations, as well as the Ministry of planning of the follow-up mechanisms for the implementation of the project according to the time schedule to him. "

    Iraqi relations with the Nations of the world have gone through several crises during the previous regime, as relations with Iraq following the events of other crises, 2003 and subsequent deterioration in the political and security situation reflected negatively on its external relations, but the wheel of external relations recovered recently to several factors, including mutual visits between Iraq and those countries as well as facilities offered by Baghdad in the area of investment.
