His media office stated in a statement received by {Al-Furat News} that "the latter received a number of ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions from the European Union. The meeting dealt with the relations between Iraq and the European Union countries, and ways to enhance cooperation in a number of fields, including those related to the economy, investment, and the human rights file, They discussed the international political situation in the region, as well as a number of topics of common interest.
He stressed, "During the meeting, the House of Representatives was keen to strengthen the bonds of relations and cooperation between Iraq and its friends in the world, and its support for the government in this regard."
For their part, the ambassadors praised the positive relations between Iraq and the European Union countries, expressing their country's continued support for Iraq in all fields to achieve its security and stability.
