A political movement confirmed, on Monday, that it had monitored seven legal violations by former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.

The Secretary-General of Bayraq Al-Khair, Muhammad Al-Khalidi, said in an interview with Al-Maalouma: “Al-Kadhimi committed violations that can be identified in 7 important points, the most prominent of which is widespread corruption in the corridors of his government and overlooking deals that caused the waste of public money.”
He added, "Al-Kadhimi's trial in the near future is very likely, especially with the emergence of new evidence regarding corruption and abuses taking place in the funds allocated for reconstruction, construction, and financing the food basket."
He pointed out that "opening corruption files, both for the Al-Kadhimi government and for the rest of the previous governments, must receive the same attention because corruption is accumulated and there are forces that have affected the expense of public money, and the evidence is very abundant."
The judiciary had issued a recruitment decision against Al-Kadhimi’s most prominent aides for their involvement in financial and administrative corruption files. End 25
