Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, met in Baghdad with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq, Mr. Faiq Zaidan.
During the meeting, the commitment to the constitution, the rule of law and solving problems related to the lives and livelihoods of citizens were emphasized, especially the financial entitlements of the Kurdistan Region and not mixing them with political problems.
Regarding the creation of Halabja Governorate and the terrorist attack on Arbat Airport, President Pavel called on the judiciary to perform its legal role in the issue of creating Halabja Governorate and to compensate this city that made great sacrifices, saying: “It is the duty of all of us to confront violations and penetrate the country’s borders, as there cannot remain stability for our DNA.” "Under threat, these attacks must be put to an end."
