[size=45]The Baghdad Municipality announced its agricultural plan, which includes creating (108) gardens and planting more than 5 million seedlings and (375) thousand trees and shrubs to increase green areas in the capital.[/size]
[size=45]A statement from the secretariat stated, “The municipal departments began working on their fall agricultural plan in implementation of the directives of the Mayor of Baghdad, Engineer Ammar Musa Kazem, to include the development of (108) new gardens that will be an outlet for families, new recreational sites for them, and a green spot that contributes to reducing the impact of climate change in all areas of the capital, Baghdad.”[/size]
[size=45]He added, “These departments worked to multiply the various plants, trees, and shrubs in their shade with an exceptional effort, so that they could be planted in gardens, parks, public squares, central islands, and intersections.”[/size]
[size=45]He stated, “The Baghdad municipality’s agricultural plan also includes planting more than (5) million diverse seedlings and (375) thousand seasonal and permanent trees and shrubs, in addition to acacia trees and different types of flowers.”[/size]
[size=45]He continued, "The Baghdad Municipality has completed planting more than (100) dunams of green space and (600) trees and shrubs in the celebration square in preparation for its opening in a new look."[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that “the Baghdad Municipality is continuing to implement its plans to increase green spaces and recreational places and rehabilitate parks and gardens in implementation of the directives of the Prime Minister and to pay attention to these events in the service of the people of the capital, Baghdad.”[/size]
