A security source reported, on Saturday, the arrest of a terrorist group specialized in stealing electrical cables in an ambush east of the city of Fallujah.
The source said in a statement to the Maalouma Agency, “Security forces ambushed a terrorist group while they were trying to steal lighting cables on the international highway near Al-Suqur control east of the city of Fallujah, without any significant resistance occurring.”
He added, "The group consists of three people specialized in stealing electrical cables, converting them to copper, and selling them on the black markets."
It is noteworthy that the electrical power transmission towers in Anbar witness from time to time sabotage operations by ISIS criminal gangs. End / 12a
