The Minister of Education signs the scientific, cultural and research cooperation agreement with France

{Local: Al-Furat News} The Republics of Iraq and France signed an agreement for scientific, cultural and research cooperation between institutions of higher education and scientific research in both countries.
The media of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research stated in a statement received by {Al-Furat News}, “The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, and the representative of the French government, Eric Chevalier, signed an agreement for scientific cooperation in both countries.”
The bilateral cooperation agreement is part of the partnership agreement signed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron on January 27, 2023.
It includes establishing partnerships and cooperation between institutions of higher education and scientific research in the two countries in the fields of science, engineering, environment, archaeology, heritage, law, and the French language, exchanging visits to academic institutions, participating in conferences, seminars, and joint research projects, exchanging scholarships, and developing programs for doctoral grants and scientific residencies.
