Representative Ahmed Al-Moussawi confirmed on Saturday that the most famous border roads in eastern Iraq were out of service.

Al-Moussawi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “The Diyala-Wasit road, or what is known as the Qazaniya border road, is one of the oldest and most famous border roads in eastern Iraq, and it is an economic artery for transporting crops, goods and goods from Diyala towards the central and southern governorates.”
He added, "The road is dilapidated and effectively out of service and needs comprehensive maintenance operations, especially with the large number of complaints, despite its economic importance, which is highlighted in that it is a corridor for the flow of goods to 7-9 governorates."
Al-Moussawi called for "the need for the government and relevant authorities to adopt the project to revive the Qazaniya border road, as it is strategic and an important point in travel between Diyala and the central and southern governorates."
The Qazaniya road, which extends towards the Zurbatieh district, is one of the important land roads close to the border strip. Ended 25 February
